Are you a hard worker that likes the energy and bustle of the airport? Junkanoo Air, a new, Bahamian-owned, and operated airline is looking for several individuals to fill the role of ground support. Ground Support workers, also referred to as Baggage Handlers, assist customers and Customer Service Agents in a wide variety of tasks that include carefully moving and assisting with the processing of customer baggage for flights.
Junkanoo Air is hiring for Nassau, North Eleuthera and Mangrove Cay. If you have a great work ethic, are physically capable of lifting and moving baggage and are a ‘people person’, we invite you to apply to join the team at Junkanoo Air!
Please note that preference will be given to persons who are either currently employed in a similar role or who have had experience in a similar role.

Requirements
- If required, able to obtain Airport Authority-issued Identification badge by meeting all requirements (available via the Airport Authority only and at their discretion following their due diligence process)
- Must naturally display friendliness and kindness through actions, non-verbal cues, body language and through a winning smile
- Be able to operate a computer and a variety of software applications and input/output devices like printers and digital scales
- Must be punctual
- Able to work shifts that occur at different times of the day and on any day of the week (including weekends)
- Must maintain the ability to wear prescribed uniforms
- Must be able to regularly lift baggage weighing up to 75lbs over short distances
- Must be able to stand for long periods without experiencing discomfort
- Able to communicate clearly and with a good command of the English language
